WELCOME to the RIVIERA BOOK. THE RIVIERA BOOK is a luxury travel magazine on the Riviera’s of the WORLD! As far as we know there are no other magazines on the Riviera’s of the world.

At 120 pages it covers 10 RIVIERAS. It will be available through public school music programs in North America as a fundraiser for their band programs. Size: Oversize at 9 inches by 12 inches.

MARKETING

6000 high school band programs will sell the book 1000 in Canada and 5000 in the USA @ $50 each. Each province and state receives 50,000 copies annually which are divided up between 100 high school band programs 500 copies each. After they sell the books each will earn $25,000 for their program. $2.5 million in total will be raised in each province and state for public school music education, $25 million in Canada and $150 million the USA annually.

PROMOTION

THE RIVIERA BOOK will be promoted on PBS. There will be a telephone for each province and state. The mantra will be ‘make each telephone ring 1000 times.’ When 1000 magazines are sold in a state/province it will cover the cost of 50,000 magazines enough to earn 100 HIGH school band programs $25,000.

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND is a movement started by the ARTHUR W. DELAMONT FOUNDATION which supports public school music education. Its goal is to raise $175 million for public school music programs (bands) across North America.

ADVERTISERS

There are 100 advertising spots available in the RIVIERA BOOK, ten for each of the ten articles, either hotel, dining, retail or activity. We will promote all our advertisers as well on PBS during all promotional events. We will also only work exclusively with our advertisers in each location in the future with further promotions TBA.

ARTICLES

Each article will focus on towns/cities in a different RIVIERA, I.e. French Riviera, Cannes, Carlton Hotel, dining, retail and activity. Each advertiser receives two pages opposite each other for an ad on the right and an editorial on the left or they can use the two pages as they choose for a combination of text and photos. Each article will begin with a double page photo of the location. Cost is $1000 US for 2 pages. Circulation is 3,000,000 copies.

MARKETING

Because we are printing so many copies we will be covering all markets high end, middle and low. We will be in all the major North American cities as well as in the rural communities. There is a huge opportunity to grow the market. We want people who may have never considered going to a Riviera to learn what it is all about and that it is not only for the rich and famous.

There are also 10 pages up front for outside advertisers such as airlines or tourist bureaus.

TIMELINE: As soon as we have the magazine completed we will reach out to PBS. We would prefer to be on PBS during winter 2025/2026 when more people watch television than in the spring.

Limiting advertisers to ten per article should speed up publishing of the magazine. Normally we would sell multiple ads on the ad pages but that takes longer. As this is for the 2025/2026 school year we want the magazine in the hands of schools in the spring of 2025.
